UNH HOCKEY TO SUPPORT RECOVERY OF TAYLOR CHACE

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire has announced that donations will be collected for the Taylor Chace Fund by his New Hampshire Junior Monarchs teammates at the Saturday, Feb. 1 UNH men's hockey game vs. the University of Maine at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H.

Taylor's teammates will be on the concourse by sections 109 and 118 of the lower level and sections 208 and 220 in the upper level collecting donations for the fund during the game.

On October 6, 2002, Taylor Chace, 16, of the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs, sustained a broken back and incomplete spinal cord injury while playing in a game in Canada, ending his on-ice hockey career.

The N.H. Junior Monarchs in conjunction with the UNH Wildcat men's hockey team seek your assistance in establishing the Taylor Chace Fund. Not only will this fund help to support Taylor in his off-ice recovery, but will also be used to assist players in future years whose families may need help with the circumstances surrounding a serious injury.
