'CATS ARE THIRD IN BOTH NATIONAL HOCKEY POLLS

The University of New Hampshire hockey team dropped to the No. 3 spot in the USA TODAY/American Hockey Magazine poll and stayed at No. 3 in the USCHO Poll with a split vs. the Northeastern Huskies this past weekend. The Wildcats lost 5-4 in overtime on Friday night at Matthews Arena and came back to the Whittemore Center on Saturday night to win 6-2.

UNH is currently the No. 3 team in the nation with a record of 21-6-3 and 13-4-3 in Hockey East. The 'Cats are currently in first place with 29 points and have clinched home ice for the quarterfinals of the Hockey East playoffs .
