Men's Hockey Defeats Notre Dame

DURHAM, NH -- Eric Lind scored the game winning goal to lift New Hampshire (9-2-1, 5-0-1) over Notre Dame (4-7-2, 3-5-2) 2-1 on Saturday night.

In the first period, Lind fired a slapshot from the point to the top corner off an assist from Mike Souza and Lanny Gare to extend the Wildcats lead 2-0.

Notre Dame cut the iead 2-1 in the second period when Conner Dunlop snuck a shot past New Hampshire goaltender Ty Conklin. John Wroblewski and Tyson Fraser recorded assists on the goal.

New Hampshire got on the board 1-0 in the first period when Josh Prudden put a high shot past Notre Dame goaftender Tony Zasowski. Patrick Foley assisted on the goal.

Conklin finished with 25 saves for New Hampshire arid Wroblewski made 20 stops in a losing cause
