DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball program is pleased to announce that it will be taking a five-day trip to Canada to play in four games against some of the top talent in the country.
The team departs for Canada on Tuesday, August 23 and will travel directly to Montreal, staying in the province for three days and competing in two contests. The Wildcats take on McGill University Wednesday, August 24 (7 p.m.) and then battle the University of Quebec Thursday, August 25 (7 p.m.).
Following UNH's stay in Montreal, the squad will travel to Quebec City, taking on LaValle University Friday, August 26 (7 p.m.) and Bishop's University Saturday, August 27 (4 p.m.).
Prior to the trip, New Hampshire will host practices in Lundholm Gym open to the public from Monday, August 15 to Monday, August 22 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Practice times are subject to change, so those planning to attend should confirm times with Liz McAllister at (603) 862-2838 or Liz.McAllister@unh.edu.
