COACH HERRION TAKES PART IN AMERICA EAST MEDIA DAY

ALBANY, N.Y. – Bill Herrion, the head coach of the University of New Hampshire men’s basketball team, took part in America East Media Day on Monday, Oct. 27 at the Fort Orange Club in Albany, N.Y., site of the 2009 America East Men’s Basketball Championship.

The league’s television schedule was also released at Media Day, with the Wildcats scoring four games on TV. When UNH travels to Penn State on Nov. 23 at 2 p.m., the game will be aired on the Big Ten Network. Both of the Wildcats’ matchups with UMBC will be on TV, with the Jan. 14 (7 p.m.) game at Lundholm Gymnasium being shown on CN8 and the Feb. 10 (7 p.m.) tilt at RAC Arena airing on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN). The Wildcats’ final TV game will be Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. when they play host to Maine at Lundholm on the New England Sports Network (NESN).
