DURHAM, N.H. – Men’s basketball head coach Bill Herrion announced today two players have signed National Letters of Intent during the early signing period to attend UNH and play for the men’s basketball program beginning in the 2007-08 academic year. 
    Tyrone Conloy is a 6’2” wing player from Burlington, Vt., who averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds per game at Burlington High.  Entering his senior year, he has been a starter all four season and has scored 1,011 career points.  Conloy was named All-State both his sophomore and junior year.
    Salah Abdo is a 6’2” guard with experience playing at the point position.  The Southborough, Mass., native averaged 13 points, seven assists and five rebounds per game during his junior year at St. Mark’s School, a member of the Independent School League.  The team went 27-0, capturing the Class C Championship.  As a three-year starter, St. Mark’s holds an impressive 76-7 record.  Abdo was named 1st Team All-ISL as well as 1st Team All New England Class C.
    The University of New Hampshire, a member of the America East conference, was picked fourth in the conference pre-season poll earlier in the year.
