MEN'S BASKETBALL GEARS UP FOR FRANKLIN PIERCE IN HOME OPENER
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men’s basketball team attempts to get back into the win column when they play host to intrastate foe and Division II affiliate Franklin Pierce College on Monday (Nov. 13) for the Wildcats regular season home opener in Lundholm Gymnasium. The game is set for a 7:00 p.m.
    Wildcat sophomore guard Tyrece Gibbs (Brockton, Mass.) notched a team-high 11 points with three steals in an 86-47 loss to the No. 15th ranked Boston College Eagles on Friday night. UNH freshman guard Dan McGeary (Boston, Mass.) tallied six first half points en route to scoring a career-high eight points.
            Senior co-captain Blagoj Janev (Sydney, Australia) posted eight points along with five rebounds, while junior forward Mike Christensen (Reston, Va.) registered eight points and four rebounds. Freshman forward Seth Price (Grove City, Ohio) notched four points and five rebounds in his collegiate debut.
    The Wildcats return for its second home contest of the season on Saturday (Nov. 18) when they host Central Connecticut State University at 12:00 noon.
