DURHAM, N.H. - Merrimack's Kent Leahy was the high-scorer in the game with 25 points as the Warriors beat the University of New Hampshire, 76-72, in an exhibition contest Sunday afternoon at Lundholm Gymnasium.

New Hampshire had three players score in double-digits. Mike Christensen (Reston, Va.) shot 7 for 14 in field goals and was 6 for 7 at the free throw line to lead New Hampshire with 22 points and eight rebounds.

Brandon Odom (Dorchester, Mass.) converted five three-pointers and had 20 points while freshman Tyrece Gibbs (Brockton, Mass.) scored ten points with five rebounds for the 'Cats.

New Hampshire opens the season November 18 against Columbia University at the Columbia Classic. They will host their first home match against Long Island University December 3 at 7 p.m.
