DURHAM, N.H. - Wednesday night, November 28, Wildcat fans will get a chance to see their University of New Hampshire basketball host the University of Florida and Concord's Matt Bonner at the Whittemore Center.
Wednesday morning, prior to the game, fans will also have an exclusive chance to meet one of the preeminent college coaches in the nation, Florida head coach Billy Donovan.
"Breakfast with Billy," as the event is being called, will take place at the Sheraton Harborside Hotel in Portsmouth, N.H. from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Patrons of the UNH hoop program interested in purchasing tickets for "Breakfast with Billy" may call 866-UNH-HOOP for more information. Tickets are $100 and are currently available in limited quantities. Proceeds will benefit the UNH men's basketball program.
Ticket sales for the November 28 game will begin Monday, October 15 at 10 a.m.
Limited quantities are available for the Nov. 28 game as the Hampshire Hoop Heaven and Topcat ticket packages are sold out for the 2001-02 season.
"We are understandably excited by the fact that so many have supported our Hampshire Hoop Heaven Package," said UNH Athletic Director Marty Scarano. "It is now time for all the basketball supporters to help us fill the Whitt in what should be a night to remember. We anticipate the individual game tickets selling out in advance of the Florida contest and encourage those wanting to attend to purchase the tickets now and assure themselves a seat."
Ticket prices for the Florida game, which will be played at the Whittemore Center, are $15 and $12 for reserved seats. Senior citizens and children 18-and-under may purchase tickets at $12 and $6. Also on sale Oct. 15 will be UNH's remaining 14 home games at Lundholm Gymnasium. General admission seats are $6 for adults and $3 for senior citizens/children 18-and-under.
