DURHAM, N.H.—Five members of the 34th-ranked University of New Hampshire women’s gymnastics team were honored on Friday evening after being named to the All-East Atlantic Gymnastics League squad. The awards banquet was part of the EAGL Gymnastics Championships being held at UNH on March 27.

 Four of the five gymnasts earned first-team honors in their respective events. On bars, sophomore Danielle Reibold (Horsham, Pa.) was named to the first-team. UNH had a pair of Wildcat gymnasts named first-team All-EAGL on balance beam in senior Taryn LaFountain (Utica, N.Y.) and junior Chelsea Steinberg (Ridgewood, N.J.). In the floor exercise, senior Julie Sauchuk (Peabody, Mass.) was also first-team All-EAGL.

 Earning second-team All-EAGL honors in vault were senior Helena Diodati (Scarborough, Maine) and Steinberg. Diodati also earned second-team on bars, while Reibold was second-team on beam and Steinberg was second-team on floor.

 Steinberg was the big winner for the ‘Cats in the All-EAGL listings, as she was also second-team All-EAGL in the all-around.

 The Wildcats, who completed the regular season with an impressive 12-3 record, return to action on Sat., March 27, when they host the EAGL Championships in Lundholm Gym at 2 p.m. Tickets are still available for the huge eight-team meet at
