HELENA DIODATI NAMED EAGL SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK FOR EFFORTS IN VICTORY OVER MARYLAND

DURHAM, N.H.—Senior University of New Hampshire gymnast Helena Diodati (Scarborough, Maine) was named the East Atlantic Gymnastic League (EAGL) Specialist of the Week following her outstanding efforts in the Wildcats’ 195.000-194.300 come-from-behind victory over EAGL rival Maryland.

Diodati tied for first on bars (9.80) and second on vault (9.825) in the dual meet against Maryland. In addition, she notched a 9.725 on beam. Diodati went on to win the UNH Katie Baldwin Spirit Award, which is presented at each home meet to UNH's top gymnast.

Diodati and her teammates will return to action on Sun., March 7 at George Washington with William & Mary. The meet begins at 1 p.m.
