DURHAM, N.H. - Junior Michelle Harley (Collegeville, Pa.), a member of the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team, was named Thursday to the women's university at-large Verizon Academic All-District First Team. Harley was one of 10 student-athletes from New England and New York to be named to the squad. It marks the second straight year that Harley was a first team selection.




DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team celebrated the 2002 season at its annual awards banquet held Saturday on the UNH campus. Several gymnasts were honored for their performance this past season and captains for the 2003 squad were named.




BATON ROUGE, La. - The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team finished fifth at the NCAA Central Regional Saturday night at the Maravich Assembly Center on the campus of Louisiana State University. The ‘Cats posted a score of 193.075 in a meet that was won by host No. 6 LSU with a score of 196.450.

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team learned Monday afternoon that it will be competing in the NCAA Central Regional to be held at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La on Saturday, April 6. The regional meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. CST (7 p.m. EST).




TOWSON, Md. ­ Four members of the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team were named to the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) All-League teams announced Friday night at the annual EAGL awards banquet at the Towson Sheraton.




AUBURN, Ala. - The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team closed out the regular season with a 194.425-192.975 loss at Auburn University on Friday night at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum. The Wildcats close out the regular season with a mark of 8-7.




DURHAM, N.H. - Five members of the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team were named to the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) All-Academic Team announced by the league office on Thursday. A total of 75 student-athletes from the eight member schools were named to the squad.




TOWSON, MD. — Junior Jen Dickson (Salisbury, Md.) of the University of New Hampshire women's gymnastics squad placed third in the all-around competition, but it was not enough as the Wildcats were defeated at Towson University on Friday night, 194.775-193.20.




DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team posted their top score of the season, 195.275, as they defeated West Virginia (193.075), Pittsburgh (192.575) and Yale (192.100) in front of a season-high 1,634 at Lundholm Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The score matched the third-highest in Wildcat history, achieved last season against Vermont.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team registered a 193.100 score Saturday night at the Michigan State Spartan Invitational held at Jenison Field House. The host Spartans won the meet with a score of 195.700, followed by Illinois-Chicago (194.875) and Ball State (193.275).

The defeat marked UNH's first of the season after opening the season with wins over Rutgers and Rhode Island.

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's gymnastics team has signed two outstanding student-athletes for the 2002-03 season, 23rd-year head coach Gail Goodspeed announced Tuesday. Marianna Pena, (Sudbury, Mass.) and Amanda Hall (Bremerton, Wash.) will bring a wealth of talent and experience to UNH, as both women have long histories of excellent competitive experience and a strong desire to help the Wildcat gymnastics program continue to excel.
