DURHAM, N.H. – Dalton Crossan (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) rushed for 61 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Mike Kelly (Merrimack, N.H.) registered 69 yards receiving and a TD to lead Team Cats to Saturday's 20-0 victory over Team Wild in the University of New Hampshire football team's spring Blue-White Game at Cowell Stadium.
Crossan, who carried 15 times, scored on an 11-yard scamper on the third play of the second quarter for the game's first touchdown. An extra point from Christian Breda (Needham, Mass.) made it 7-0. Early in the fourth quarter, Crossan's second 11-yard TD rush of the game made it 13-0. The PAT from Anthony Guidice (Nashua, N.H.) was wide right.
Kelly made two catches, including a game-long 45-yard reception from Hayden Jardine (Tokyo, Japan/4 of 7, 57 yards) and a 24-yard TD grab from Chris McCormick (Winooski, Vt./1 of 4, 24 yards). Kelly's scoring catch and the PAT from Joe Ghiloni (Warwick, N.Y.) late in the fourth quarter closed out the shutout win for Team Cats.
Sean Goldrich (West Haven, Conn.) went 5 of 11 for 31 yards, Andy Vailas (Bedford, N.H.) completed 4 of 7 passes for 29 yards and Adam Riese (Hamilton, N.J.) went 1 of 3 for 14 yards and gained 37 yards on six rushes.
Jimmy Owens (West Deptford, N.J.) led the rushing attack with 87 yards on only six carries; the junior had an apparent 42-yard TD run reduced to a 27-yard rush due to a holding penalty and added a game-long 51-yard rush.

Walker would have turned 23 years old May 1. Vailas wore Walker's uniform No. 80 for the Blue-White Game.
After the game, coach McDonnnell announced the team's spring award winners during a ceremony inside Lundholm Gymnasium. Jullian Turner received the Bob O'Keefe Iron Man Award for the best offseason strength and conditioning regimen.
