Football's R.J. Harris wins Gold Helmet Award
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Gridiron Club of Greater Boston selected University of New Hampshire wide receiver R.J. Harris (Odenton, Md.) as this week's recipient of the Gold Helmet Award for the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
It is the first career Gold Helmet award for the 6-foot, 194-pound receiver, who posted the fifth 100-yard receiving game of his Wildcat career.
No. 14/12 UNH (1-0, 0-0 CAA) visits the University of Minnesota (1-0, 0-0 Big Ten) of the Football Bowl Subdivision on Saturday, Sept. 8, for a 12 p.m. (EDT) kickoff at TCF Bank Stadium. The game will be telecast live on the Big Ten Network.
