TICKET INFORMATION: NO. 10 FOOTBALL TO PLAY AT NO. 2 VILLANOVA (NCAA FCS PLAYOFFS)

– The No. 10 ranked University of New Hampshire
football team is set to battle No. 2 Villanova in the
quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division I Championships and tickets
are now available.
The Whittemore Center Arena Box Office will be taking phone orders
for anyone interested in purchasing tickets to the quarterfinal
game being played at Villanova this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Current
Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. The Box
Office number is 603-862-4000 extension 5.
All seats are RESERVED/ASSIGNED seats. There are no general
admission tickets. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children
ages 3-12. Anyone over 2 needs a ticket to enter the game. There
will be a $5 processing fee per ticket order and no group discounts
or senior citizen discounts are available.
Tickets purchased over the phone through UNH will be available for
fans to pick up at the Whittemore Center Arena Box Office until
Thursday at NOON. All fans are encouraged to pick up their tickets
ahead of time at the Whittemore Center Box Office to avoid waiting
in line at Villanova’s Box Office where the average wait
could be as much as 45 minutes to 1 hour. NO TICKETS WILL BE
MAILED!
Parking/tailgating gates will open at 12:30 at Villanova. Parking
is $20 per car and can be purchased on game day. All UNH fans that
need to pick up their tickets at Villanova’s Box Office are
encouraged to get to the stadium early to avoid waiting in line.
There will be a separate line for UNH will call next to the main
Box Office ticket windows.
New Hampshire (10-2) is coming off an impressive
first-round victory at McNeese State where the Wildcats were
victorious by a 49-13 margin. Villanova, (11-1 and seeded second in
the playoffs) is fresh off a 38-28 home victory over Holy
Cross.
The two teams met earlier this season and UNH handed the other
Wildcats a 28-24 loss at Cowell Stadium in Durham. It was the only
loss of the season for Villanova.
All four quarterfinal contests, including the UNH-Villanova game,
will be produced and aired on ESPN Game Plan and ESPN360.com (check
your local listings/cable & internet provider).
The winner of Saturday's game advances to the national semifinals
and will face the winner of the William & Mary-Southern
Illinois game.
Four of the remaining eight teams in the playoffs are all from the CAA (UNH, Villanova, Richmond and William & Mary).
