UNH FOOTBALL EARNS HIGHEST RANKING EVER (7TH) IN THE SPORTS NETWORK I-AA POLL

PHILADELPHIA-- The University of New Hampshire football team moved up two more spots to seventh place this week, despite having a week off. UNH was ranked ninth two weeks ago following their impressive 51-40 victory over Villanova on Oct. 2.

The Wildcats also earned their highest ranking ever in the ESPN/USA Today poll, earning the sixth-place spot. The Wildcats (4-1 overall, 1-1 Atlantic 10) return to action this Sat., Oct. 16, when the Wildcats battle Massachusetts in a Homecoming matchup. Game time is 12 p.m. at Cowell Stadium.
