PHILADELPHIA-- Six players from the University of New Hampshire football team were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Squad. The announcement was made today by the conference office.
The Atlantic 10 Football Conference cited 65 student-athletes, 32 on offense and 33 on defense. The Wildcats had three players honored on offense and three on defense. To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 and be a starter or key reserve. The voting is conducted by the Atlantic 10 Football Conference's sports information directors. The following are the six UNH members of the 2003 squad:
