NEW HAMPSHIRE FOOTBALL ADDS NICK COUTURIER TO 2003 RECRUITING CLASS

DURHAM, N.H. - University of New Hampshire head football coach Sean McDonnell announced recently that Nick Couturier (Dover, N.H.) has signed a national letter-of-intenr to enroll at UNH and join the Wildcat football program in the fall of 2003.

Couturier has been a member of the football team at Dover High School for three seasons. This past season, Couturier was the team MVP and an All-State defensive fullback as a member of the New Hampshire Division I runner-up Green Wave squad. He was also named the Foster's Daily Democrat Player of the Year and is also slated to play in the annual New Hampshire-Vermont Shrine Game. In 2001 Couturier was an All-State selection as an offensive fullback.

Couturier has also lettered in basketball and lacrosse at DHS and was a member of the Green Wave hoop squad that reached the Class L finals. On the lacrosse pitch, Couturier garnered Honorable Mention Dream Team status from Foster's in 2002.
