DURHAM, N.H.-- University of New Hampshire head football coach Sean McDonnell announced today that Skyler Dugger is the 12th player added to UNH's letter of intent signee listing.
Dugger, a 6-0, 290-pound OL/DL from Princeton, N.J., was a leader in the trenches at The Hun School as a two-way lineman. He possesses a very quick first step and did a tremendous job at penetrating the line of scrimmage and putting pressure on the quarterback. He had 62 total tackles,18 for a loss, as a senior and was tremendous in the quarterback sack department with 12. As a result of his strong efforts, Dugger was named first-team all-prep, first-team all-state and first-team all-conference. His former head coach Dave Dudeck said that "Dugger's combination of strength and quickness made him a dominant player on the offensive and defensive lines this year."
Dugger joins 11 other newcomers on the UNH roster for 2003.
