DURHAM, N.H.-- The University of New Hampshire football team will play its annual Blue/White scrimmage on Thursday, Aug. 26. The action will begin at 2 p.m. at Cowell Stadium.
This will be a great opportunity for fans and media to see the progress the team has made during pre-season practices under first-year head coach Sean McDonnell.
The Wildcats will open the 1999 campaign on Sat., Sept. 4 at the University of Rhode Island and will play in their home-opener on Sat., Sept. 18 vs. James Madison University. All UNH home games will kick off at noon.
In addition, all home contests, except for the Maine game on Nov. 20, will be carried live on WMUR-TV, Channel 9. All 11 contests will also be aired live on the radio by the University of New Hampshire Sports Network, which includes: WTSN, 1270 AM in Dover, WFEA, 1370 AM in Manchester and selected games on WKXL, 1450 AM in Concord.
