DURHAM, N.H.-- The University of New Hampshire football team will be holding its annual Blue/White Spring Football Game on Saturday, May 6 at Cowell Stadium. After some initial warmup drills, the team will begin the actual scrimmage promptly at 1 p.m. The team will play three quarters of football with a shortened 10-minute halftime after two quarters.
The press box will be open for all members of the media and abbreviated statistics will be kept and then distributed in the media relations office (room 151) following the game. A team prospectus and numerical roster will also be available in the press box. There will be no formal press conference, however, second-year head coach Sean McDonnell and his players can be interviewed at field level at the conclusion of the contest.
In addition, all members of the media have been invited to attend the football cook out after the game.
The regular football season will begin on Sept. 4 at Hampton University. The first home game for the Wildcats is set for Sept. 9 vs. Rhode Island.
