WILDCATS EARN TOP HONORS AT NCA CHEER CAMP

BOSTON - The University of New Hampshire Cheerleading team participated in the 2010 National Cheerleading Association (NCA) College Camp last week on the campus of Boston University with over 500 athletes in attendance. 

The Wildcats finished in first place overall in Game Day Cheer and Rally Routine among all Division I All Girl squads at camp. They were also invited into the Game Day Run Off competition, in which, they took second place to Elmira College. 
 
The 'Cats also won Best All-Around voted on by the staff and campers among all team competing during the week.  As a result of the team's outstanding performance, UNH received a full paid bid to compete at the NCA College Nationals in April of 2011.
 
The Wildcats earned the 2nd place title in the 2010 NCA Collegiate Cheer Championship, the program's highest finish to date.   Kennesaw State University took home the championship title with a score of 8.695.
