DURHAM, N.H. – Former University of New Hampshire track & field standout and 11-time All American Elinor Purrier (Montgomery, Vt.) has signed a professional contract to run with the New Balance Boston team coached by former Olympian Mark Coogan.

Coogan made the announcement of Purrier's signing in Des Moines.
Robert Hoppler, Purrier's coach at UNH over the last five years, was excited about the news.
"I'm tremendously proud of everything Elle has accomplished at the University of New Hampshire and very excited she's able to move on and join New Balance Boston, one of the premier groups in the country," Hoppler said. "I'm positive she'll continue to have the highest level of success. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat and we all wish her the best in the future."
