Three Wildcats Record Career-High Scores in Win vs. Towson

The Wildcats have now won back-to-back conference meets vs. UNC and Towson
DURHAM, N.H. – Nicole O'Leary (Newtown, Conn.), Lauren Diggan (Sinking Spring, Pa.), and Clare Hampford (Trumbull, Conn.) all recorded career-highs as the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team defeated Towson (195.775-193.975) on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Lundholm Gym in Durham, N.H.

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST ROTATION
- O'Leary finished in first place with a career-high 9.900 on vault to lead the Wildcats to a team score of 48.975, the team's highest mark this season. Elizabeth Mahoney (Hanson, Mass.) tied for second place with a 9.825.
SECOND ROTATION
- Diggan recorded a career-high 9.900 to win the individual bars championship as UNH recorded a team score of 48.925. Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) finished in second place with a 9.875 while Makenzie Kerouac (Merrimack, N.H.) came in third with a 9.850.
THIRD ROTATON
- Riley Freehling (Southington, Conn.) recorded the highest beam score in the meet (9.825) as UNH recorded a 48.700. Courtney Bondanza (Buffalo, N.Y.) tied for second with a 9.800.
FOURTH ROTATION
- Danielle Doolin (Medford Lakes, N.J.) recorded her highest floor score of the season (9.875) to lead the Wildcats to their highest floor score this year (49.150). O'Leary finished second (9.850), while Lia Breeden (York, Pa.) and Hampford tied for third (9.825). This was a career-high for Hampford.
