Mia Neas Named to CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team

The occupational therapy major earns a spot with a 3.91 GPA.
AUSTIN, Texas – Senior goalkeeper Mia Neas (Old Saybrook, Conn.), after an impressive senior year in net for the University of New Hampshire, has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All America Third Team.
Neas, who was named the2017 America East Goalkeeper of the Year, was voted by the College Sports Sports Information Directors Association to the Academic All-District Team in November, and from there was voted to the All-America level.
Neas started every appearance for the Wildcats this season in net after seeing action in only three games prior to this season. She finished the season with a 11-5-1 record, stopping 83 shots and allowing only 14 goals for a 0.81 GAA and .856 save percentage. The Wildcats clinched the #1 seed in the America East Tournament for the first time since 2007.
