Football's Morgan Ellman Named Jewish Sports Review All-America Kicker

QB Sean Goldrich receives Honorable Mention
LOS ANGELES – Morgan Ellman (Scotch Plains, N.J.), a junior kicker for the University of New Hampshire football team, was named to the Jewish Sports Review 2015 College Football All-America Team in the publication's March/April 2016 edition.
Ellman was recognized as JSR's All-America kickoff specialist after handling KO responsibilities for the Wildcats, who advanced to the NCAA Division I FCS playoffs for a nation-leading 12th straight season. The native of Scotch Plains, N.J., kicked off 40 times for 2,234 yards and went 5-for-5 in field goal attempts, including a perfect 2-for-2 in a second-round playoff game against Colgate University.
UNH senior quarterback Sean Goldrich (West Haven, Conn.) received JSR All-America Honorable Mention after ranking third in the CAA in passing yards/game (207.4) with 201 completions in 329 attempts (61 percent) for 1,867 yards and nine touchdowns in nine games. He added 210 rushing yards on 65 carries, including three TDs.
After 79 seasons at Cowell Stadium, the UNH football program will open Wildcat Stadium in 2016. UNH's home opener is against the College of the Holy Cross on Saturday, Sept. 10. For more information on purchasing season tickets, go online or call 603-862-4000.
The Wildcats begin spring practice in April and will play their annual Blue-White scrimmage Saturday, May 7, as the final football event at Cowell Stadium. Attendance is free. For more information on the UNH football program, visit www.unhwildcats.com.
