No. 22 Gymnastics Places First in Wildcat Invitational

DURHAM, N.H. – Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) set a new career high on uneven bars (9.925, 1st) as the 22nd-ranked University of New Hampshire's gymnastics team came from behind to finish first in Sunday's quad-meet versus Towson University, the University of Bridgeport, and Brown University.
The Wildcats improve to 8-3 overall, while Towson rises to 5-5, Bridgeport moves to 8-6, and Brown falls to 9-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Wildcats began the day on vault, where Mahoney scored a team-high 9.850 to lead New Hampshire to a score of 48.425 in the event. Carroll and King each followed with scores of 9.700.
New Hampshire further improved its score on uneven bars, the second event of the afternoon. Mulligan led the way with a 9.925, a personal-best to go along with a first place finish. King also tied her own career high with a 9.850 (T-3rd).
Kelsey Aucoin (Double Oak, Texas) was the meet's top scorer on balance beam, tying a season high of 9.925. Casey Lauter (Northport, N.Y.) finished second on the team with a 9.875, and Lia Breeden (York, Pa.) rounded out UNH's top three with a score of 9.825.
UNH finished strongly on the floor, as Doolin notched second place while tying a career high (9.850). Meghan Pflieger (Barneveld, N.Y.) closely followed with a 9.825 as the Wildcats closed out the meet with a first place finish.
