Gymnastics Places Third in Quad-Meet at George Washington University

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jessica Gracia (Bahama, N.C.) posted a career high 9.825 on beam for a share of first place in the University of New Hampshire's gymnastics team's third place finish in Friday's Pink Meet at George Washington University with the University of North Carolina and the College of William & Mary.
The Colonials rose to 13-2 overall, while the Tarheels improved to 5-9, the Wildcats went to 10-5, and the Tribe fell to 4-11.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Wildcats opened the night on the floor exercise, where Meghan Pflieger (Barneveld, N.Y.) led the way for the second straight meet. The junior registered a score of 9.750, which earned her eighth place.
New Hampshire then moved to vault, where Elizabeth Mahoney (Hanson, Mass.) recorded the team's top score for the third meet in a row. Her mark of 9.700 was good enough for eighth place.
UNH had its best performance of the night on bars, where Mulligan registered the team's top score (9.875) and achieved first place for the fourth week in a row. Makenzie Kerouac (Merrimack, N.H.) finished tied for second with a season-high 9.850, and Jennifer King (Freehold, N.J.) recorded a 9.800 for a share of fifth place.
The Wildcats finished the meet with another strong performance on beam. Pflieger and Gracia tied for first with scores of 9.825, while Danielle Doolin (Medford Lakes, N.J.) and Lia Breeden (York, Pa.) closely followed with a share of fourth place (9.775).
