No. 22 Gymnastics Registers 194.100 in Southern Connecticut Dual Meet

DURHAM, N.H. - Meghan Pflieger (Barneveld, N.Y.) recorded first place finishes on the balance beam (9.875) and the floor exercise (9.850) in the 22nd -ranked University of New Hampshire's gymnastics team's first place finish in Saturday's dual meet versus Southern Connecticut State.
The Wildcats improve to 9-3 overall, while the Owls fall to 6-12 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
New Hampshire opened very strongly on vault, where Elizabeth Mahoney (Hanson, Mass.) recorded a new career high of 9.900 and earned first place. Pflieger and Doolin each finished with scores of 9.800 and a share of second place.
The Wildcats continued their success on the uneven parallel bars, where they swept the meet's top five scores. Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) added to her season-long dominance with another first place finish (9.850), while Jennifer King (Freehold, N.J.) took second (9.775) and Makenzie Kerouac (Merrimack, N.H.) rounded out the top three (9.750).
Pflieger led UNH on balance beam, scoring a 9.875 and finishing first in the team's third event. Courtney Bondanza (Buffalo, N.Y.) followed with a new personal best of 9.750 and earned third place. Jessica Gracia tied her own career high of 9.725 and finished fourth.
On the floor, Pflieger and Doolin led New Hampshire, each with a 9.850 and a share of first place. Nicole O'Leary (Newtown, Conn.) closely followed, tying for third with a score of 9.800.
