DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire athletics department is excited to announce the relaunch of UNHWildcats.com on a new platform provided by SIDEARM Sports.
The new website features an updated, clean and streamlined look that will allow fans to easily find UNH athletics news and other information very quickly. The site features new additions such as a sports ticker, fan poll, updated schedule and bio layouts, as well as billboard-sized photos and sport-specific video integration in all aspects of the site.
"We are excited about the launch of our SIDEARM Sports site," Director of Athletics Marty Scarano said. "The enhancement of our site will give us a vehicle to tell our incredible stories to the fans. Our staff has collaborated closely with SIDEARM Sports to create the best website that we can."
SIDEARM Sports, based out of Syracuse, N.Y., currently powers 819 websites spanning across various college and high school divisions. Their staff has worked diligently in collaboration with the UNH athletic communications department to ensure the Wildcats' archived stats, rosters, bios releases have been imported to the new website with a user-friendly enhanced look. With support for mobile phones, social media and advertising, the transition will benefit both fans and UNH athletics.
"The addition of the University of New Hampshire to the SIDEARM Sports family is a great accomplishment," said SIDEARM Sports President and CEO Jeff Rubin. "We hope the members, supporters, alumni, fans, student-athletes and staff at New Hampshire enjoy all the features that site has to offer. The athletics staff at the University of New Hampshire has been tremendous to work with and we look forward to working with them to enhance the site with innovative features throughout our relationship."
The 2015-16 New Hampshire athletic season begins Aug. 21 with women's soccer playing host to the University of Rhode Island at 7 p.m.
