CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Laura McHoul (Westwood, Mass.), a freshman attack on the University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team, was tabbed America East Rookie of the Week on Monday. McHoul also received the honor Feb. 18.

McHoul recorded a total of 12 points (three goals, nine assists) on UNH's 17 goals in two games last week. McHoul has started all 11 games and recorded 34 points on 11 goals and team-high 23 assists. She ranks second on the team in points and fifth in draw controls (nine). McHoul recorded a point in her first eight games and has tallied a point in 10 of 11 games with nine multiple-point efforts; that includes six multiple-point performances and four multiple-goal games.

She recorded five assists in her collegiate debut Feb. 16 at Hofstra University and followed that with a personal-best three goals against UMass (Feb. 23). McHoul had three assists at Dartmouth College (Feb. 28) and at Navy (March 13).
