ALBANY N.Y. – Senior Daniel DeCrescenzo (New Milford, Conn.) placed 12th overall as the University of New Hampshire men's cross country team finished seventh at the America East Championships Saturday morning at the University at Albany.
The Wildcats finished with 146 points, while host Albany won the meet with 60 points.
DeCrescenzo completed the 8-kilometer course in a time of 25:07.
Junior Kent Harlow (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) finished in 25th place as he crossed the finish line in a time of 25:23.
Junior Cory Sinotte (Hooksett, N.H.) and senior Alex Beaulieu (Merrimack, N.H.) finished 33rd and 34th, respectively, in times of 25:36.21 and 25:36.90.
Sophomore Nathaniel Hathaway (Scarborough, Maine), graduate student Andrew Dionne (Westerly, R.I.) and freshman John Prizzi (Wyckoff, N.J.) finished 40th through 42nd, respectively, in times of 25:43, 25:44 and 25:49.
The Wildcats return to action Saturday, Nov. 12 at the NCAA East Regional on the campus of the University at Buffalo.
