Dan Lupi enters his second season with the UNH men’s hockey program as the goaltending coach. Lupi comes to Durham after spending the 2012-13 season as goaltending coach at UMass.

Lupi has been the head instructor for Goaltending Development Services, Inc. While at GDS, he has trained netminder of all ages and experience including former UNH standouts Brian Foster and Kevin Regan.

Lupi played high school hockey at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H. He was selected to the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) All Star and All Conference team.  He went on to play at Assumption College, where he was a four year starter and is at the top of several of the school’s goaltender records. Lupi won several NE-10 conference player of the week awards, and was the school’s rookie of the year and team MVP during his time with the Greyhounds. He ranks second in program history in games played (64), minutes (3,597), shots faced (2,458),  saves (2,146).

He reside in Andover, MA with his wife Kerri and son Luka.
