DURHAM, N.H. -Freshman forward Sean Collins (Reading, Mass.) of the University of New Hampshire men's ice hockey team was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. The announcement was made Monday afternoon by Hockey East.

Collins recorded 2-2-4 vs. Providence to give him his fifth mutli-point game of his Wildcat career. Collins currently leads UNH in goals scored with nine and is first in Hockey East (conference games only) with seven goals. He has scored a goal in seven of his nine games as a Wildcat. Collins ranks third among the Hockey East leaderboard in points scored and he is first among the Hockey East rookie class. In the national statistical rankings, Collins is second among rookie scorers and 16th in overall scoring. Collins is currently the national leader in power play goals with six.

UNH (5-2-2 overall, 4-1-2 HEA) returns to action on Saturday, November 24 vs. Ohio State. Game time at the Whittemore Center is 6 p.m.
