UNH Hockey's Ryan Cordeiro To Transfer

DURHAM, N.H.- The University of New Hampshire men's ice hockey program has announced that forward Ryan Cordeiro (Somerset, Mass.) has decided to transfer to Merrimack College.

Cordeiro, who will have to sit out the 2000-01 season because of NCAA transfer rules, will still have two years of eligibility remaining. As a sophomore last season, Cordeiro played in 12 games and registered three goals and an assist for four points. During his freshman campaign, Cordeiro played in 39 games and notched four goals and 10 assists for 14 points.

UNH opens up the 2000-01 season at the Michigan Ice Breaker Tournament on Oct. 6-7
