DURHAM, N.H.-- The University of New Hampshire men's basketball schedule for 2005-06 features games against the likes of Providence, Connecticut, Penn State and North Carolina State, a tournament appearance at Columbia University in New York City, and the highly-competitive America East rivals as well.

The season begins on Nov. 18 when the squad plays in the Columbia Tournament, along with the Lions, Quinnipiac and Troy State.

The first home game for the squad is set for Dec. 3 when the Wildcats entertain Long Island University in Lundholm Gym , followed by another home contest on Dec. 6.

The squad will play its first America East contest on Dec. 8 at Boston University. January features five home games vs. four America East teams, not to mention the annual battle for Granite State bragging rights when UNH is the host to Dartmouth on Jan. 16. Other non-conference games are scheduled at Colgate (Nov. 26) and at Harvard (Nov. 30).
