DURHAM, N.H. – The 15th-ranked University of New Hampshire football team will take on seventh-ranked and fourth-seeded Southeastern Louisiana University in an NCAA Division I Football Championship quarterfinal game Saturday, Dec. 14 (7 p.m.), at Strawberry Stadium in Hammond, La.

On Saturday, the Wildcats (9-4) defeated No. 5 seed and CAA regular-season champion Maine, 41-27, at Alfond Stadium to reach the D-I quarterfinals for the seventh time in 10 years.
The Southland Conference champion Lions (11-2), who hosted their first-ever NCAA playoff game Saturday, scored a touchdown in the final minute to knock off league rival and two-time defending national runner-up Sam Houston State, 30-29.
