DURHAM, N.H. -- Last year, the University of New Hampshire athletic department implemented three new initiatives – priority parking plans for both football and men's ice hockey and Skybox Lounge access. These initiatives provided donors with an enhanced game-day experience while supporting UNH teams. All plans were extremely successful last year and continue to increase in popularity. Less than a dozen spots remain in the Football Priority Parking Lot so the time to act is now.
If you are interested in obtaining a Football Priority Parking Pass, you must first make an annual gift to The Wildcat Fund of at least $1,000 during the 2013-14 fiscal year, which runs July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. The annual gift may be made in a one-time payment, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly. The Wildcat Fund is the collective athletic annual giving program that enables donors to designate their gift to any Friends Group, Athletics Scholarships or Athletic Director's Priorities.
The next step is to purchase the Football Priority Parking Pass, which costs $125.
The Football Priority Parking Pass' enhanced game-day experience includes choice of your parking spot within the designated priority parking area (adjacent to the tennis courts and near the traffic circle on Main Street), personalized signage in your parking spot and guaranteed parking for all five home football games in the 2013 season.
Only men's ice hockey season ticket holders are eligible for a Men's Ice Hockey Priority Parking Pass, which costs $500. In addition to being a season ticket holder, an individual must first make an annual gift of at least $2,000 to The Wildcat Fund to be eligible for the Pass. The first installment of the annual gift and the Men's Ice Hockey Priority Parking Pass payment are both due by Sept. 23.
The Men's Ice Hockey Priority Parking Pass' enhanced game-day experience includes guaranteed parking near the Whittemore Center (New Hampshire Hall or Elliott Alumni Center parking lots) and access to the Skybox Lounge, which includes concession items, premium meals and adult beverages available for purchase during pregame and intermissions. There is a very limited number of hockey parking passes that will be subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
Another donor opportunity that provides an enhanced game-day experience for men’s ice hockey is the Skybox Lounge Access Plan, which is available only to men's ice hockey season ticket holders. Those individuals who make an annual gift of $500 to The Wildcat Fund will have the ability to join Wildcat fans and supporters in the Whittemore Center Skybox Lounge during pregame (as available) and intermissions of men's ice hockey home games. Access is based upon the number of season tickets under a donor's name, and the access pass is valid for the donor and a guest.
For all philanthropic gifts to The Wildcat Fund donors will receive a charitable gift acknowledgement from the UNH Foundation, Inc.
