Fourteen Wildcats named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

BOSTON – Twenty-five members of the 2022-23 University of New Hampshire men's track and field team were named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

A total of 14 Wildcats made the Commissioner's Honor Roll, while 11 were named to the Honor Roll.

Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a spring semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, while Honor Roll accolades are bestowed to student-athletes who recorded a spring semester GPA between 3.0-3.49.

William Curran (Old Saybrook, Conn.), Zachary Hooper (Concord, N.H.) and Aidan Shea (Amherst, Mass.) each posted a perfect 4.0 in the spring semester and were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Alexander Cermak (Manchester, N.H.), Kevin Finn (Kennebunk, Maine), Andrew Fleming (Acton, Mass.), Samuel Hilts (Concord, N.H.), Joshua Hoffman (Litchfield, N.H.), Brayden Kearns (Deerfield, N.H.), John Murphy (Deerfield, N.H.), Aidan O'Hern (Concord, N.H.), Adrian Sutton (Rochester, N.H.), Ryan Verhoog (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) and Caden Zalenski (Milford, N.H.) also earned Commissioner's Honor Roll accolades.

Being recognized on the Honor Roll were Dillon Adamy (Lebanon, N.J.), Jayson Blaisdell (Barrington, N.H.), Joseph DuMont (Cherry Hills Village, Colo.), Brian Genet (Merrimack, N.H.), Max LaPointe (Amesbury, Mass.), Francesco Maldari (Portsmouth, N.H.), Kenney McElroy (West Linn, Ore.), Liam McGovern (North Kingstown, R.I.), Kevin McGrath (Hopkinton, N.H.), Zack Plaza (Auburn, N.H.) and Max Rome (North Kingstown, R.I.).

Seventy-seven percent of student-athletes who competed in America East sponsored sports this year secured Honor Roll recognition for earning at least a 3.0 GPA during the 2022 fall semester or 2023 spring semesters. Of that group, 52 percent of student-athletes and 1,797 in total earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for registering a GPA of 3.5 or better. Overall, 2,694 America East student-athletes earned Academic Honor Roll in 2022-23.
