NCAA Championship Skier Bodewes Feted for Fourth Straight Season

DENVER – NCAA Championship competitor and four-time honoree Will Bodewes (Durango, Colo.) headlined 13 University of New Hampshire skiers recognized as members of the 2020 National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team by the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association (USCSCA).

Juniors Will Bruneau-Bouchard (Quebec City, Quebec) and Rachel Nawrocki (New Castle, N.H.) were recognized for the third time in their careers.

Two-time recipients include Corey McConville (London, Ontario), Andrew Meyer (Bozeman, Mont.), Eleonora Olsmats (Djursholm, Sweden), Lisa Olsson (Stockholm, Sweden) and Kaja Sandsten (Oppdal, Norway).

First-time honorees are Lucinda Anderson (Golden Valley, Minn.), Emma Kearing (Carrabassett Valley, Maine), Kristine Keller-Miller (Plymouth, Minn.), Brianna Macdonald (Toronto, Ontario) and Anna Schriefer (Pittsford, N.Y.).

"We are not only proud of the Academic All-Americans' performance on the slopes and trails but also in the classroom," UNH ski coordinator Cory Schwartz said. "This shows their dedication, hard work and sacrifice necessary to reach this status."

All honored Wildcats competed at the 2020 EISA Championships and achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
