DURHAM, N.H. - For the first time, the University of New Hampshire volleyball team is offering positional clinics Saturday, August 3 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Athletes ranging from 14-18 years of age can select to participate in one of the three sessions: hitters, setters, or liberos.
Hitting: All positions (outside, middle and opposite) will train with Head Coach, Jill Hirschinger and the UNH players. Emphasis will be on arm-swing, technique and velocity. Hitters will work on their technique and increase their volleyball intelligence to become a terminating player.
Setting: Setters will train under Associate Head Coach, Stacy Barnett. Emphasis will be on footwork, hand positioning, set delivery and emergency skills. Setters will receive individual training and multiple repetitions.
Liberos: Defensive specialists will train with Head Coach, Jill Hirschinger and the UNH liberos. Emphasis will be on platform positioning, serve receive, footwork patterns, defensive skills, floor work and serving.
The charge is $50 per person. Please register on the link for your desired position. Clinics will take place at the UNH Recreational Center on the third level. Participants should arrive at 8:30 a.m. to register prior to the session.

The deadline to register is July 15. Registration will be a first come, first served basis. A refund minus $25 administrative fee will be available if notified before July 26.
