DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire volleyball team competed against Boston College in a five-set exhibition match at Lundholm Gymnasium Tuesday evening.
The set scores were 22-25, 18-25, 10-25, 25-23 and 4-15.
Freshman middle blocker Demi Muses (Orangevale, Calif.) led the Wildcat offense with 10 points on eight kills, two block assists and a block solo. Sophomore outside hitter Tori Forrest (Powder Springs, Ga.) registered nine kills and nine digs.
Setters Taylor Dunklau (Mukwonago, Wis.) and Keelin Severtson (Delray Beach, Fla.) directed the attack, dishing out assist tallies of 20 and 19 respectively. Severtson paced the squad with three service aces.
Sophomore defensive specialist Madison Lightfoot (Clarkston, Mich.) anchored the backcourt with 17 digs.
New Hampshire returns to the court on Saturday, April 12 at the University of Rhode Island Invitational. Times and teams are still to be determined. The Wildcats conclude their spring schedule on Saturday, April 19 at Lundholm Gymnasium. UNH welcomes Bryant University, Harvard University, the University of Hartford and the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Times of matches are to be announced.
