DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire volleyball team will host the third annual “Volley for Holly” Tournament on Tuesday, May 8th at Lundholm Gymnasium on the UNH campus.
    The Wildcat volleyball team along with the Wildcat athletic department will once again host the event in honor of Holly Young, a member of the Wildcat volleyball team who has Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. The funds that are raised from the tournament will go towards assisting with medical and travel expenses during her treatment.
    Each team will have a maximum of 12 players per team with a $50 dollar entry fee. Registration deadline is Friday, May 4th. Spectators wishing to attend the event will be asked to donate $2 dollars. All checks should be payable to “Friends of UNH Volleyball”.
    The tournament also includes a raffle, food and prizes for Best-Dressed, Best Team Name, MVP and many more.  The tournament is double elimination with the winner playing the UNH volleyball team.  The tournament will be officiated and supervised by the UNH volleyball team and coaching staff.
