UNH's Williams competes professionally in Europe

DURHAM, N.H.-- Senior libero Jen Williams (Mountain View, Calif) of the University of New Hampshire women's volleyball team toured Europe with Bring It USA, a professional indoor volleyball team.

Williams was one of 32 players on the 11-day tour, including one of seven liberos on the roster that competed in the sixth annual January European Exposure Tour which helps place players from the United States into European professional volleyball.

The team toured in Maribor, Slovenia, Innsbruck, Austria, Munich, Germany, and in Vienna, Austria from Jan. 7th to Jan. 17th and return to the United States today from Munich, Germany.

Williams played four season at UNH, leading the team with 468 digs in her senior season. She finished her Wildcat career with 1,398 career digs which is the current school record. Williams also holds the third and sixth best dig totals in school history. Williams broke former Wildcat Alyson Coler's all-time school dig record on Oct. 16th vs. Binghamton and she became the sixth member of UNH's 1,000 dig club on Sept. 10th vs. Siena.
