After a very noteworthy indoor season, the University of New Hampshire women's outdoor track and field team extended its success into the spring. Much of this success was due to being able to train on our brand new, state-of-the-art, Reggie F. Atkins Track and Field Facility. This season illustrated just how much of a difference a new facility can make.
PRINCETON, N.J. - The University of New Hampshire women's track and field team ended the 2002 season in strong fashion last weekend as two school records fell at the ECAC Outdoor Championship, which was hosted by Princeton University at William Weaver Stadium.
DEDHAM, Mass. - The University of New Hampshire women's track team had their best-ever team finish at the New England Championships held this past weekend on Northeastern's Solomon Track. The Wildcats placed fourth out of 32 competing teams, racking up 67 points. The University of Connecticut was first with 134 points. Northeastern was second with 95.5, with Wheaton (Mass.) in third with 80 points.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Amy DeCamp (Londonderry, N.H.) and Katie Litwinowich (Holden, Mass.), members of the University of New Hampshire women's outdoor track team, competed at the University of North Carolina Invitational this past Saturday (4/13) and both had excellent performances representing the Wildcats.
