QUARLES GARNERS WEEKLY AWARD FOR WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Freshman Camille Quarles (Derry, N.H.), of the University of New Hampshire women’s indoor track and field team, was named America East Women’s Field Performer of the Week for the week ending Jan. 21 the America East conference announced Wednesday.
   
Quarles won two events and set a new school record to lead her team to a dual-meet win against the College of the Holy Cross and Quinnipiac University at the Paul Sweet Oval on Jan. 19.
   
Quarles won the triple jump and set a new school record with a distance of 11.50 meters. The jump broke Megan Donohue’s (Stratham, N.H.) old mark of 11.42 that was set last month. Quarles placed first in the long jump as well, recording a mark of 5.29 meters.

UNH finished with 166 points, while Holy Cross tallied 119 and Quinnipiac recorded 47.

The Wildcats return to action Saturday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m. when they take part in the Harvard Invitational at the Gordon Track Center in Cambridge, Mass.
