– Senior Kiah Quarles (Derry, N.H.), senior Amy Roccio (Beverly, Mass.), freshman Camille Quarles (Derry, N.H.) and sophomore Ashlee Lathrop (Sherburne, N.Y.) each won an event to lead the University of New Hampshire women’s indoor track and field team to a third-place finish at the Dartmouth Indoor Invitational on Saturday at the Leverone Field House.
The Wildcats (100) finished behind Brown University (208) and Dartmouth College (144), but ahead of the University of Vermont (48) and Quinnipiac University (23).

Kiah was first in the 60 meter hurdles, finishing in a time of 8.88 seconds.
Roccio placed first in the high jump, using a jump-off leap of 1.64 meters to break the tie of 1.63 meters with Brown’s Anna Cook.
Camille finished first in the triple jump with a leap of 11.59 meters. Freshman Megan Donohue (Stratham, N.H.) came in second with a jump of 11.49 meters.
Lathrop won the weight throw with a toss of 16.06 meters. Seniors Brienna Smith (Sandown, N.H.) and Larissa Smith (Sandown, N.H.) finished third and sixth, respectively, with throws of 15.43 meters and 14.28 meters.
Junior Sarah Hall (Nottingham, N.H.) placed third in a pair of events. She finished the 60 meters in 7.80 seconds, and the 200 meters in 25.65 seconds. Donohue was fifth in the 200, finishing in 26.25 seconds. Freshman Kaitlin Kwiecien (Hampstead, N.H.), Kiah Quarles and sophomore Tayla Ryan (Norwood, Mass.) placed eighth, ninth and 10th, respectively. Kwiecien finished in 27.07 seconds, Quarles finished in 27.11 seconds and Ryan had a time of 27.12 seconds.
Kwiecien was also fifth in the 400 meters, finishing in 59.75 seconds. Freshman Catherine Perrella (Bedford, N.H.) was seventh in a time of one minute, 65 seconds.
In the 800 meters, freshman Alison Letourneau (Kingston, Nova Scotia) placed fourth with a time of 2:17.76 and senior Rebecca Haley (Dover, N.H.) was fifth in a time of 2:18.28.
Freshman Lindsay Jeltes (Oakland, N.J.) placed fifth in the 1,000 meters, finishing in a time of 3:00.10.
In the 3,000 meters, sophomores Caitlin Forgit (Worcester, Mass.) and Amanda Rusilas (Charlton, N.Y.) placed fifth and sixth, respectively. Forgit finished in a time of 11:02.98, while Rusilas finished in 11:06.01.
Back on the field, sophomore Rita Ciambra (Hanover, N.H.) grabbed a third-place finish in the pole vault with a height of 3.51 meters.
Freshman Meghan McGrath (Merrimack, N.H.) placed third in the long jump with a distance of 5.30 meters. Freshman Kaitlyn DiBuono (Auburn, Mass.) was seventh with a jump of 5.16 meters.
The Wildcats return to action at the America East Championships on Feb. 22-23 at the Track and Tennis Center in Boston.
