HANOVER, N.H.-The University of New Hampshire women's indoor track team placed second out of three teams at Dartmouth on Saturday. Dartmouth won the meet with a score of 145.5, followed by UNH with a 124.5 and Vermont (79).

UNH had several first-place finishers in various events.

Leading the way in the 60 meter dash was freshman Sarah Hall (Nottingham, N.H.) with a time of 7.95.

In the women's mile it was sophomore Cathy Parker (Westfield, Mass) earning top honors with a clocking of 5:09.20.

Sophomore Kiah Quarles (Derry, N.H.) won the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9:13.

In the weight throw junior Erin Moore (Nashua, N.H.) posted an impressive distance of 15.68 meters as the Wildcats had three of the top four of the top five finishers in the event.

The women's indoor track team will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 21 at home vs. Boston College and Holy Cross. The action is set to begin at 12 p.m. in the Paul Sweet Oval.
