BOSTON- The 4x800 relay team of Katie Litwinowich (Holden, Mass.), Lesley Read (Dover, N.H.), Leighann Carpenter (Princeton, Mass.) and Kristen Meisner (Nashua, N.H.) set a new school record at the ECAC Championships last weekend, as the four runners notched a preliminary qualifying time of 8 minutes, 57.31 seconds in the event. Their time shattered the old mark (9:02.64) by more than five seconds set just last year by Amy DeCamp, Meisner, Carpenter and Read.

NORTHAMPTON, MASS.- Buoyed by a meet record first place time of 11:49.75 in the distance medley relay, the University of New Hampshire women's indoor track team garnered 58 points and a fourth place finish at the 27-team New England Championships at Smith College on Saturday. The 'Cats, who tallied a total of three first place finishes, were bested by only Northeastern (140 points), UCONN (116.50) and Wheaton (62.50).

BOSTON, MASS- Bolstered by the performances of Jessica Descartes (Randolph, Mass.), Megan Hepp (Milton, Vt.) and Katie Litwinowich (Holden, Mass.), the University of New Hampshire women's track team snagged a second place finish (83.5 points) at the Boston University Pavilion on Friday. The six-team meet was won by UMass (112) who was followed by UNH, BU (82), Maine (78.5), Providence (65) and Central Connecticut State (53).
