Senior George Jumpp (Manchester, N.H.) and junior John Prizzi (Wyckoff, N.J.) of the men's squad and senior Rosemary Read (West Greenwich, R.I.) of the women's program will compete in the regional meet over the weekend.

Jumpp will participate in the hammer throw event for UNH over the weekend. The senior thrower has had a career-year for the Wildcats, taking third place at the America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a measurement of 186 feet and 8 inches. Most recently, the senior scored fifth at the ECAC/IC4A Championships with a personal-best mark of 197-09.

Prizzi will be running the 3,000-meter steeplechase for UNH at Regionals. The 2014 America East All-Academic Team member earned the individual title in the steeplechase at the conference championships (9 minutes and 6.44 seconds). Earlier in the year, at Princeton University's Larry Ellis Invitational, Prizzi posted a school-record time of 8:47.39 to take seventh place.

Read, who rounds out Wildcat competitors, will also compete in the hammer throw event. The senior enters the competition fresh off a school-record performance at the ECAC/IC4A Championships. Read launched a toss of 186 feet and 9 inches to claim sixth place at IC4As. The senior also performed well at the New England Championship, logging a toss of 175-11 for first place. Read's other major accomplishment came at the America East Conference meet, where she placed first with a mark of 171-01.
